On March 8 and 9, the Coast Messiah Choir and Coast Messiah Orchestra will deliver the long-awaited sequel to its inaugural BachFest in 2019. The concerts are being organized and directed by David and Sara Poon, Gibsons residents who are themselves music teachers, soloists and conductors. 

A matchmaking ritual in Gibsons last week resulted in two dozen partnerships that will produce new works in time for the Sunshine Coast Art and Words Festival in August. 

Three renowned Canadian performers Barney Bentall and Shari Ulrich will celebrate 15 years of collaboration with a return to the Heritage Playhouse on Thursday, Feb. 22.
