As September looms and parents prepare to send their kids back to school, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is stressing the importance of up-to-date vaccinations for all children entering kindergarten.

After postponing twice already due to Mother Nature, the volunteers who have put hundreds of hours into planning this event for the third straight year look forward to the Movie in the Park event on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

This Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 24 and 25, the Gibsons community shuttle will be stopping three times a day at Shirley Macey Park to accommodate attendees of the fourth annual Synchronicity Festival.

This summer marks the third successful year of Sea to Sky Outdoor School's popular Salish Sea Explorers. The program offers children aged nine to 12 the opportunity to take part in a week of canoe adventure day trips based out of Gibsons Harbour.
