Hospice Society kicks-off event

On Sunday, May 4, walkers of all ages on the Sunshine Coast will be joining thousands of Canadians across the country as they come together to raise funds for hospice palliative care programs and services.

Farm Gate Market returns

Spring has sprung and that means the return of the Farm Gate Market outside Roberts Creek Hall. Now in its sixth year, the market convenes every Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. rain or shine.

Harbour Highlights

Pender Harbour and Egmont will be in full bloom with daffodils for sale this weekend supporting the annual Cancer Society fundraiser. Locations include Backeddy Pub, Garden Bay Post Office, IGA, Petro Can, and Cross Roads Grill.

Fundraising begins for local rider

Coaster Katie Duncan has started her fundraising campaign in preparation for the 300km Ride to Conquer Cancer through the Cascade Mountains June 14 to 15. This Saturday, March 22, Duncan is hosting a fundraiser at Gilligan's Pub from 4 to 9 p.m.
