Deer Crossing the Art Farm will hold its annual general meeting this Sunday, Jan. 26 starting at 3 p.m.
One key order of business will be a revision to the constitution to enable the Art Farm to become a non-profit society with charitable status. Gambier Islanders are invited to hatha yoga classes at the community centre, starting on Feb 1.
This 75-minute class is open to all levels, from beginner to experienced. Theinstructor, Georgia St Cyr, is a qualified instructor who's also a new Gambier resident. Classes start at 9 a.m. and cost $15. Bring your own mat and a blanket.
