Black bears: Are they ferocious and dangerous or timid and shy?
Pender Harbour Wildlife Society presents The Man Who Walks With Bears, a Planet Earth documentary featuring the pioneering work of Dr. Lynn Rogers with black bears. See him lie down by wild black bears, interact with mothers with cubs, and track and study the same wild bears for years, gleaning new intriguing data that will awe and surprise you.
The wildlife society’s annual general meeting follows after a pause with refreshments. The society meets Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. at Pender Harbour High School.
