Continuing a tradition of the past several years, the Pender Harbour and Area residents Association (PHARA.ca) in concert with PH Hikers are organizing a Roadside Cleanup and Backwoods Trash Bash. Roadsides to be cleaned are Highway 101 from the Health Centre to Petro-Can. You will be provided with gloves, garbage bags, garbage tongs and safety vests (limited amounts of the last two items).

The Backwoods Trash Bash will focus on the back road dump sites in the Pender Harbour area. These “keeping our communities clean” events are consistent with one of the objectives of PHARA, which is “to help volunteers initiate and complete community improvement projects.”
