The Comfort Society, a committee within the Sunshine Coast Quilters’ Guild that looks after donating quilts, reached out to RainCity Housing to ask if they would like any quilts for the new supportive housing complex on School Road in Gibsons. The offer was met with enthusiasm and the Guild membership was informed of their need. Its members rose to the occasion and supplied 40 twin quilts to ensure every resident has a quilt for their bed. The request for quilts went out in February and was completed in mid-March.
