Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary granting program is now open for applications

Successful programs to date have included initiatives that support new and expecting moms, young families, people with challenges in mental health, research, fitness programs for people with disabilities, residential and hospice care needs, health diagnostic tools, seniors programs and many others.

The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary is again inviting grant applications from any agency or organization to fund a worthy healthcare initiative. Initiatives must have specific and measurable objectives and must have a health-related benefit exclusively for residents of the Sunshine Coast.

The granting program is now in its sixth year. Successful programs to date have included initiatives that support new and expecting moms, young families, people with challenges in mental health, research, fitness programs for people with disabilities, residential and hospice care needs, health diagnostic tools, seniors programs and many others.

Grants are to a maximum of $10,000. Applications are due by Feb. 28. Please submit by mail to PO Box 917, Sechelt, V0N 3A0 or by email to: schealthcareauxiliary@gmail.com, attention Granting Committee.
