Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden is offering a two-day photography workshop called Cameras in the Garden.

On Sunday, Sept. 25, starting at 9 a.m. and Wednesday Sept. 28, at 7 p.m., bring your camera to the gardens and learn how to take better photos.

The Sunday all-morning session will include classroom time, hints about light and composition, plus photography of vegetables, flowers, trees and scenes with your equipment. If possible, bring your camera manual. Tripods optional.

The gate will open Sunday for early-bird shutterbugs at 8:15 am.

Attendees are invited to return the following Wednesday evening to share their pictures. For both sessions, enter at Gate 1, the volunteers gate, and meet in the classroom.

Information will be sent to each registrant prior to the workshop. Pre-registration is essential, as the workshop is limited to 15 people. Cost is $20 for Garden Society members, $25 for non-members.

The Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden is located at 5941 Mason Rd. in West Sechelt.
