The Sechelt Public Library will be having a Canada 150 Poetry Contest in April, during Poetry Month. The theme is “What living in Canada means to you.”
The contest is open to all ages, children, youth and adults. Prizes will be awarded for creativity and originality. The deadline is April 15 at 7 p.m.
All poems will be laminated and displayed on a “Poetry Line” (similar to a clothes line) in the trees around the library, during the week of April 24.
Registration forms are available online at http://sechelt.bc.libraries.coop and at the library.
