The Peter Van Deursen Trio performs this Saturday, July 18, at Gunboat Bay Blues, the Dock Project, a waterfront concert hosted by Ken Mellquist at his dock on the north side of Gunboat Bay.

This Friday, July 17, The Clubhouse at Pender Harbour Golf Club has a wonderful dinner menu and a treat with the live music of Shine to make your evening a special one. 

Gunboat Bay Blues, the Dock Project waterfront concert with the Peter Van Deursen Trio is this Saturday, July 18, hosted by Ken Mellquist from his dock on the north side of Gunboat Bay. Tide times are perfect. Arrive early. Anchor and motors off by showtime. No rafting. Follow COVID protocols. 

During the day Saturday come downtown. Madeira Market, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind The Hall is a fun place to visit and shop. Rachel will be there with her beautiful, delightful painted rocks. Beads and Blooms, patio plants, Eat for Weeks Salad Bowls, veggies and herbs and fresh flowers. Amy’s Spa & Pet Food will have sweet Tiny to greet you. Warning! The aromas in the air will get to you so after a shopping workout enjoy the delicious food from chef Tony at Triple BBB’s. The veggie burger is fantastic! 

The Bargain Barn is now open for business at The Legion. Operating hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays noon to 3 p.m. Donations are accepted at The Bargain Barn location Wednesdays only, noon to 3 p.m., where you will be asked to sort your donations into specific bins. 

The Reading Centre has reopened Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with changes abiding by COVID mandates. Nice to receive a cheery phone call inviting members back! Thank you! Visit their website for more details. 

The Harbour Gallery has an extensive show of new, fresh masterpieces: drawings, mosaics, stained glass, felting from our superb local artists. The art in many forms is available to purchase from cards to large creations. Take home a treasure or two to enjoy forever. Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout July and August. 

Slow Sundays at FibreWorks Studio and Gallery is happening July to September, noon to 4 p.m. Bring your own materials and equipment to participate. $10 drop-in the first hour. For more information, call 604-883-2380. 

Sunday you can fine dine all day and enjoy live music on The Patio at The Clubhouse 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This Sunday, Martini Madness makes the music and the great Clubhouse family will mix the cocktails. Cheers! 

Harbourside Friendship Thursday, July 23 invites you to come play Jeopardy Harbourside Friendship style. Pack a lunch, bring a chair and join the fun starting at 10:30 a.m. behind The Hall.
