Holy smokes, last Sunday’s Jam at The Clubhouse was hot! This Sunday’s headliners, the Peter Van Trio, will have the temperatures rising again. From 2 to 6 p.m., enjoy the best music on the Coast, great food, fun and beverages. Admission by donation. 

Women’s Connection turns 21 on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Come join the birthday celebration with food, fun and frolics. Activities start at 10 a.m. at the School of Music. Drop in $2. 

Thursday, Feb. 13 Harbourside Friendship presents live music with The Seniors, a bluegrass band from Powell River. Coffee is served at 10:30 a.m., lunch at noon. Drop in $10 at The Hall. 

Bingo is back Thursday, Feb. 13 at the Community Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with an early bird game at 6:30 p.m. The 50 call jackpot is $800! Huge thanks to Sunny Charbonneau for her endless hard work (volunteering) to keep bingo in the Harbour alive. Proceeds keep The Hall open and operating for all to enjoy. 

The Pender Harbour Music Society Coffee House Friday, Feb. 14 welcomes to the stage at the School of Music, Anna Lumiere, Noah Ord, Raven Duo (Jay Burnham and Lorenzo), and Shine vocal group. $10 suggested donation at door. The Clubhouse has all you could want included in their Valentine Date Night: prime rib dinner (or option), red roses, and the wonderful music of Apasionado (Lori Carmichael and Randy Rayment). Reserve now. 

The Legion will host a Valentine’s Day dance Saturday, Feb. 15 starting at 7:30 p.m., with music by Eddy Edrik, carnations for the women, snack dishes to enjoy with your beverages. Admission by donation. 

Pender Harbour Community School has something for everyone. Classes with Chef Marcus include Japanese Cooking, Feb. 20 and Vietnamese Cooking, March 12. Preregistration required: 604-883-2826. Drop-In Sports at PHSS: Pickleball, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. Hockey for boys grade 10 and over, Tuesdays 7:30 p.m. Volleyball for ages 11 and over, Wednesdays, 7 p.m. 

Deb Cole’s retirement party is Saturday, Feb. 22, in recognition of this amazing woman, long time manager of the Pender Harbour Aquatic and Fitness Centre and enormous contributor to our community.
