Due to the rising numbers of COVID 19 cases, the Bargain Barn’s store at the Legion and the Donations Centre at the Hall will be taking a “circuit breaker” pause as of April 18. Stay tuned to their website for updates. The Barn folks thank you for your understanding.
How disappointing that the government travel guidelines have left little protection for us on the Sunshine Coast as we are defined as Vancouver Coastal Health. The Pender Harbour area, our paradise that others are determined to enjoy, has too many out-of-province licence plates. Hotel guests include some from the U.S. Disrespectful and dangerous. Try as we do and must as a community to keep safe, the situation of those that do not is frustrating to say the least. Enormous appreciation, admiration and respect go out to all those frontline workers as they bravely carry on day after day.
