The One Straw Society and the Food Action Network are teaming up to presents its fourth annual Fall Faire at the Roberts Creek Hall this Sunday. The Faire runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct.

The One Straw Society and the Food Action Network are teaming up to presents its fourth annual Fall Faire at the Roberts Creek Hall this Sunday.

The Faire runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 2 and promises to be another spectacular harvest season event, complete with a packed house of local farmers, producers and craftspeople, pumpkin carving and wreath-making activities for the kids, a 'press your own apple cider ' station with apples donated by the Sunshine Coast Fruit Tree Project, warm, delicious food and drinks in the Food Action Network concession, and the chance to win truly lovely prizes in five contests.

Get your entries ready now for: greatest jam or jelly, best fermented preserve, biggest pumpkin or squash, best dressed zucchini and the most unique looking veggie.
