Obituary: Sundy M. Wilson

'Sundy was happiest in fast cars and on motorcycles, sharing a laugh around a campfire, spending a day out crabbing and prawning on the boat, getting her hands dirty gardening (no one grew more beautiful dahlias and roses), cooking delicious meals for those she loved, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.'

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sundy Marian Wilson. Anyone who had a pleasure of knowing Sundy knew her as a lover of life and always up for a good time. The daughter of Marian and Gerald Bilcik, Sundy was born and raised in Pender Harbour but spent her later years in Tofino, Prince George, and the Fraser Valley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss the fun-loving way she embraced life. Sundy leaves behind her three children, Marian (Kevin), Alfred (Diane), and Ian (Jackie) as well as four grandchildren Hailey, Norah, Aurora, and Owen.

Sundy was happiest in fast cars and on motorcycles, sharing a laugh around a campfire, spending a day out crabbing and prawning on the boat, getting her hands dirty gardening (no one grew more beautiful dahlias and roses), cooking delicious meals for those she loved, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Sundy spent the last couple months of her life at the Langley Hospice making the most out of her time here on Earth; joyriding in her Camaro and connecting with her children and grandchildren. Thank you to those close friends and family who were there in various ways to support and love our Sundy. "Love you all my heart!"

A celebration of life will be held at Coopers Green Hall on August 22, 2023 11am - 3pm.
