June 15, 1946 - July 3, 2025
After a brave battle with cancer, with her family by her side, Penny Colleen Latham departed this life peacefully and as she planned on July 3, 2025. Penny had a quick wit and zest for life. She was known for her passion for music and dancing and love for her family and friends. Penny was predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Fred Feeney, and her husband, David Latham. She is survived by her daughter, Sharonlee Latham, Granddaughter Candace (Abe); son James Latham, Grandchildren Connor and Emma, sisters Patti Hunter (Terry) and Shannon Feeney (Jim Murray) and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Abdul-Hameed, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Stefanie Green, and Victoria Hospice staff, Drs. Polle, Pierce and Shaske and nurses Jason, Ryland, Kirsten and Madeline. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten. Penny will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Penny’s name to Victoria Hospice, BC Cancer Foundation Victoria or KidSport Victoria.
