January 3, 1938 - May 28, 2025
Monty passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on May 28, 2025. Beloved husband to the late Betty (née Adams) for over 55 years.
Monty was born in London, England, January 3, 1938. He met and married Betty in England and came to Canada in 1964.
He had a successful career in sales with AMCO and later in real estate.
After living in Vancouver for many years, Monty and Betty moved to Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast, where their home had an exceptional view of the sea.
He loved all animals, especially dogs.
Monty will be missed by his sister-in-law, Margaret, and his nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank his friends, Rene, and Louis, who helped him out when he really needed it. The Sunday hiking group and neighbours of Halfmoon Bay.
A special thank you to Chloe Delaney, who went above and beyond for Monty.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Amica, where Monty resided since 2020. He received exceptional care and kindness.
HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS WITTY HUMOUR AND HIS LOVE OF ALL FOOD.
As per his wishes, there will be no service.
