It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Andrew Rennie, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He passed away suddenly, although peacefully, in his home on August 5, 2023. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. He was known for his passion of all things outdoors: hunting, fishing and being on the ocean. He was very proud to have been a certified tugboat captain. His deep love for his family and friends was often expressed through acts of service and thoughtful gestures; always willing to lend a hand to help others in any way he could.

Mark was born to Robert Edwin Rennie and Anna-Marie Judge. He grew up in Sechelt, BC, and lived most of his life in Gibsons, BC. He is survived by his lovingly devoted wife of 41 years, Leina; three children, Tracy, Richard, and Tyrell; eight grandchildren, Tyson, Joshua, Ryan, Kyler, Faith, Jaxon, Paige, and Meilia; and brother, Tim. Mark's memory will forever remain with love in the hearts of his immediate and extended family, and close friends. He is predeceased by his mother and father.

Our family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, it has provided great comfort as we navigate through our grief. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 1st from 1pm to 4pm at the Chaster House in Gibsons.
