June 2, 1942 - June 20, 2025
Elizabeth passed away peacefully at 83. Born in Hastings, England, she became a nurse and met her husband, Francis, while working on cruise ships. They settled in Winnipeg and raised four daughters through foster care and adoption.
In Sechelt, B.C., Elizabeth volunteered with RCMP Victim Services and earned the Governor General’s Award. She was a devoted grandmother to Wesley and Jacob, her legal ward.
A passionate traveller, she spent her final years with Jacob and her dog, Murphy, overlooking Vancouver Island. She is remembered for her love, strength, and generosity.
