With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Hans Julius Otto Obeck, born September 23rd, 1941 in Berlin. He passed peacefully on September 8th, 2023 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley, his sister Heidi, two children, Karen and Christian, and five grandchildren, Ashley, Jaime, Laura, Amelia and Wesley. He was an amazing man, with true dedication to family.
A celebration of life will be held on October 14th, 2023 from 1:30pm-4:30pm at the Expedition Hall, YMCA Camp Elphinstone, 1760 YMCA Road, Gibsons.
