Don Richards, beloved husband, father and grandfather left us early in the morning Sunday, March 12th at 74 years of age. Don was a beacon of love, warmth and happiness to every life he touched.
He is remembered with love by his devoted wife of 45 years Kathy, son Adam (Krystina) and cherished twin grandsons, Frankie and Michael.
For 44 years, Don was a lighthouse keeper, having served at Patchena Point, Carmannah Point and Lucy Island. He was proudest at home, on Merry Island in Halfmoon Bay where he kept the lights since 1987.
There will be a memorial service held in Halfmoon Bay on Saturday, March 25.
