November 21, 1948 - January 18, 2023
Predeceased by her parents Garnet and Elizabeth Mayers, partner Harvey Ebach and sister Susan. Dee is survived by her son Aaron Harms of Fort Mac, daughter Carissa (James) Morton of Campbell River, grandchildren Natasha (Shawn) Smith, Jacob Harms, Torrance Knight, Daniel, Tiana and Atlas Morton, as well as five great-grandchildren.
Raised in the lower mainland Dee moved to Sechelt, BC after her first marriage. She was fiercely independent and lived her life on her terms. She retired from the LDB after 22 years in 2005. Retirement brought her to Campbell River to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and care aides at Yucalta Lodge that made my Mom's final years a little more bearable.
