November 3, 1943 - January 11, 2023
Barrie joined Marion to continue their beautiful life together. They traveled to over 90 countries, enjoyed many rounds of golf, beautiful sights, excellent shopping and wonderful food.
Barrie worked at Claytons until 1966 when he decided to “polish the big brass door handle” with his in-laws Dick and Ann Fitchett. He worked at Gibsons Building Supplies for 57 years.
Barrie loved this community very much and was grateful for the wonderful life it provided him. When you enjoy any one of the many things on the Sunshine Coast whether it is outdoors, sports, clubs or charity, Barrie quietly played a hand in many things.
He leaves behind his children Richard, Julie and David; his grandchildren Natacha, Brandon, Elly, Nicholas, Mila and Simone; and his great-grandson Gavin.
We will celebrate Barrie and Marion’s lives on their 58th wedding anniversary Monday, June 5, 2023. Please join us at the Roberts Creek Golf Course at 11am.
