It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Maureen Williams announce her passing on February 19, 2024. Anne is survived by daughters Karen (Phil), Lynne (Marcus), and Helen (Don). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cassey, Catherine (Jordan), Kelsey (Josh), Cadan (late Chris), and Ryan. She will be sadly missed by her beloved great-grandchildren, Avery, Grace and Ava.

She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Granville (2020) and her parents, Gladys and Harold Abrams of North Wales. She grew up surrounded by many doting aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Anne was born and raised into a loving extended family in Bersham, North Wales. She emigrated to Canada in 1975 with Granville, her daughters and the family dog, Mickey. They made their home in Kamloops, then the Lower Mainland and eventually in Gibsons, BC. Anne loved her dogs, Keisha, Maggie and Abbie equally and her visiting hummingbirds passionately. She was creative (knitting, sewing, crafting), game for almost anything and always up for a good party!

The family wish to thank the amazing team at Coastal Health for their compassion and support, especially Dr. Arora, and all her caregivers.

Even though it was hard to let her go, we knew it was time for her to go! Always the life of the party, she is no doubt off to her next social event.
