Alyssa passed away in a MVA on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the age of 27.
Alyssa was born at Sechelt Hospital and grew up on the Sunshine Coast. Alyssa loved art, her sometimes gigantic creations were found at Bethel Preschool, West Sechelt Elementary, Little Scholars, Sechelt Elementary and Chatelech, where she graduated in 2014.
Alyssa also loved travelling, camping and cooking but her greatest love and joy was her daughter, Mia.
Alyssa also leaves behind her parents George and Jacquie, brother Cameron (Jennifer), Nana Norma Westen, grandparents Rodrigue and Germaine Lizee, along with many cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by Papa Jack Westen.

A funeral mass will be at Holy Family Parish, 5700 Nickerson Road, Sechelt on Saturday January 13 at 11am. Immediately following the funeral mass, all are cordially invited to join the family in the hall with
refreshments provided by the Catholic Womens League.
