Obituary: Adrian Jared Higgins

'He was a good man. Sharp witted but kind and generous, who walked the red road with honor and integrity. His Indian name, he chose himself, translated, means walking bear. Walk well my son.'

January 31, 1978 - October 19, 2023

Passed away due to severe health problems. He is survived by his grandmother Barbara Higgins, his mother Holly-Ann Higgins, his father Henry James McClure, his brother Charles Robert Higgins, his adopted sister Cara Cutler, his aunty Gerri Fenn, uncle Murray Fenn, cousins Christine Fearn and Colin Fenn and his uncle Richard Higgins, and cousins Max Pierce and Parker Higgins, plus a multitude of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held at the Sechelt Indian Band Longhouse, Monkey Tree Lane, Sechelt on November 26, 2023 beginning at 10am. Words shared, followed by burning, and a pot luck luncheon. All are welcome.
