The Sunshine Coast Rotary Club has sponsored one of the new concrete and wood benches in front of the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre.
Marking the occasion, from left, are Julien Ruinat of La Cote Concrete Design, who created the benches; Rotary president Ken Beall; Arts Council co-chair Nell Burns; and board member Tim Clement.
There are three benches in total; the other two were made possible through funding from the Sunshine Coast Community Forest Legacy Fund.
The original wooden benches that they’ve replaced needed to be retired, having served visitors to the Arts Centre well over the years.
