To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Beachcombers, the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives is launching a new and improved Beachcombers exhibit this Saturday, Aug. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The centrepiece is the recreation of the Molly's Reach countertop with a life-sized photo of the cast. Visitors are invited to "sit down and have a coffee" with their favourite characters and peruse archival photographs and scripts. There will also be life-sized cut-outs of Nick and Relic for photo opportunities and the continuous screening of three classic Beachcombers episodes.

Jackson Davies (Con-stable Constable) and other Beachcombers alumni will be on hand to speak about their experiences on the much-loved television series and answer questions.

Funded by the Town of Gibsons, the new Beachcombers exhibit will celebrate all things Beachcombers and we hope to see you there!
