The Pender Harbour Community Club’s Saturday Madeira Market is a good time for all and growing, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come visit, come shop! New vendors are joining the fun and our favourite ones offering new goodies for everyone each week. FibreWorks Studio and Gallery welcomes guest studio artist Yoriko Oki until then end of June. On display the hand-dyed and hand-spun yarns of Penny Stewart, Alexis Bach, Vanessa Bjerreskor and our local fibreshed.
The Pender Harbour Reading Centre is returning to normal operations as June arrives. Fines for overdue books will be collected. Memberships fees are due and will increase to $10 for an individual, $15 for couples.
