The Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary (SCHA) hosted a 100th birthday party for Auxiliary member Bertie (Bertha) Hull on Saturday, May 13, at Totem Lodge.
Son Gordon, board president of SCHA, Halfmoon Bay member Carole Murray, Coun. Alice Lutes and many Auxiliary members turned up to sing happy birthday to Bertie.
Cards from the Queen and Prime Minister were read out and cake was enjoyed by all.
Bertie joined the Auxiliary in 1979 and had been a very active member well into her 90s.
