Last year, Gibsons Lions Club members discovered that bears had attacked and destroyed one of the two concession trailers they use for raising funds for our community.
Consequently, the Lions Club was unable to serve “the best fries on the Coast.”
Lion Dave Morane put his engineering skills to the task of designing and building a new fry trailer.
Morane, with Lions Bob Nordlund (left), Brenda Morane and Greg Collins (right), and Morane’s son Steve (inside trailer with his dad), put in many hours to complete the trailer, which is better than ever.
