St. Bart’s Food Bank volunteers Piper Goertzen (left) and Susan Kimm-Jones are sporting big smiles behind their masks as they receive $500 in SuperValu gift cards from Gibsons Lions Club’s Leona Quick and club treasurer Judy Charboneau. The gift cards are just one of the many ways the Lions Club supports the greater Gibsons community. In 2020, a year heavily impacted by the pandemic, the club supported Guides, Scouts, Navy League, Sunshine Coast Association for Community Living, food banks, and funded bursaries for grads. To continue providing this outreach and support, the Lions need new members who share their pride.
