The Sechelt Public Library will host an update on the Childhood Memories Project on Tuesday, June 20 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Launched last November, the project’s aim is to collect stories from people about their play experiences as children and compile them into a database.
More than 40 stories were recorded either by video or by questionnaire. Coast TV participated and filmed many of people sharing their treasured childhood play memories.
On June 20, the public will have an opportunity to find out how the project has unfolded, view the Coast TV footage (which has been running periodically on Coast Cable), check out the new Childhood Memories Project website and maybe even play some games from days gone by.
