Many hugs and kisses to the florist shops in Gibsons that bring the beautiful flowers to Christenson Village. The residents and workers all enjoy the flowers we see each day, giving us lots of smiles and conversations.

Kisses and sincere gratitude to all who responded to my medical emergency on Thanksgiving Day. Much appreciated kindness!
Kisses to the Waste Management crew for the kind gesture of taking the “bear dent” out of my garbage can in Sandy Hook. Bear was likely annoyed finding only cat litter!
Grateful kisses to the man who helped me when I stumbled outside Strait Coffee carrying groceries, fell and couldn’t get up. I’ll remember your kindness and your two strong hands.
Kisses to the young woman who bent to tie my shoelace in the thrift store. Little acts of kindness like this make such a difference in people’s lives.
Kicks to the person driving the truck Friday night, Oct. 22, just before 9 p.m. in Roberts Creek. In your attempt to pass the two cars ahead of you on a dark wet road with a double solid yellow line, you could have killed both my wife and myself if it wasn’t for my quick reaction to pull off onto the shoulder and nearly into the ditch.
Kisses and sincere thanks to my relatives and friends who helped to make my recent birthday such a memorable one. – Colleen
Kisses to the cyclist who was travelling in the bike lane in the early morning on Oct. 22 and was very easy to see by drivers in the dark in his hi-viz and with the headlamp on his helmet turned on. Kicks to other cyclist who was travelling in the middle of the road, had dark clothing on, no helmet, no lights on their bicycle, and wasn’t visible to oncoming vehicles. Please help drivers see you so you don’t get run over.
Kisses to the Hydro workers and contractors who go out in the worst weather to keep us with heat and light. You are the best. – Dave
