A wagon full of thankful kisses to the young man who has been cleaning around the benches, trees and picnic tables along the Boulevard and Cowrie Street.

Kisses to Tony Greenfield, the bird man, whose Good Birding column is informative, on point, welcome to birders and nature-lovers, and often humorous.
Kicks to the dog owner who jogs along Reeves Road (which is not a designated off-leash area) with two dogs at large. One killed our chicken this morning.
Kicks to the District of Sechelt for continuing to use low-visibility, ineffective, sickly yellow lighting on the new stretch of Trail Avenue. Bright, white, clear light would be so much safer and helpful to pedestrians and drivers.
Kisses to the woman I spoke with in the 8000 block of Redrooffs Road on the morning of Oct. 7. A cat was killed and this kind woman bundled the body up in a blanket and was trying to locate the owners. Her proper response to the situation will never be forgotten and I will respond in kind if ever faced with a similar sad event.
Wake-up kicks to the man and woman with the huge off-leash Rottweiler who attacked my elderly mother’s on-leash lab for no reason in Elphinstone. In the fray your dog redirected and bit my mom, ripped her pants and drew blood. Your dog is dangerous and one day will really hurt another dog or person, unless you get some help with training. Please keep your dog on leash on the trails.
Huge kicks to whoever stole my cute little lawn ornament (a frog lying on a lounger under an umbrella) off my front lawn. How sad that someone felt they needed it more than I and my neighbours who enjoyed it every day on my corner lot. Shame on you!
Big kiss to Sandy for making a Thanksgiving long weekend miracle happen! She answered my desperate plea for a last-minute ferry reservation, and then wouldn’t even accept my e-transfer! Sunshine Coast angel!
Kisses to the lovely bus driver on Route 90 Tuesday morning for helping a bus newbie out! She saw my head whipping between stops trying to figure out which side of the road I should be on, and stopped to make sure I got where I needed to go! And all with a smile, a laugh and early morning positivity. So appreciated!
Kicks to the individual(s) who took our six yellow Slow Down road signs (from BCAA) located between Mabel and 7th. We are trying to create a safer street for everyone. Would greatly appreciate them being returned.
