Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of February 24!

  • Kisses to all the staff at the Blackfish liquor store. Please keep being so wonderful. The store always looks so good and well stocked and you guys are always accommodating and helpful. By far one of my favourite liquor stores to shop in!
  • Kisses to the Ditchfields and all attendees for their birthday party that raised $200 for the Langdale Breakfast program. What a beautiful (and delicious) way to give back to your community school. We are grateful!
  • Kisses to the kind man who drove me home from the ER when there were no taxis available due to staffing issues. He would not take any payment. We are so fortunate to live on the Sunshine Coast where goodness is alive and well. Thank you, a happy senior.
  • Kisses to the staff at Marino’s Independent Grocery in Sechelt. While shopping on Thursday, I interacted with staff in the produce, bakery, meat, grocery, self check and customer service departments. Each person was upbeat, friendly and super helpful. Thank you for making a loyal customer feel valued. Your efforts every day are appreciated.
  • Kisses to Big Al’s Car Wash...I have been going there for years and really appreciate the great service.
  • Kicks to whoever puts Druthers papers on benches in Gibsons. They have to be removed and trashed to keep them from becoming blown litter. Please care about our town’s environment.
  • Kisses to everyone who picks up the Druthers papers off Gibsons’ town benches and puts them in the trash before they end up as soggy litter. Your time is appreciated.
  • Kisses to the awesome young boys who delivered Valentines to the Norvan neighbourhood with lovely messages.
  • Kicks to the resident who does not have any community spirit in mind when they run machinery to cut branches and grind/pound metal after 11pm into the wee hours on weekends in violation of the noise nylaw when there is no bylaw enforcement available.
  • Kisses to Tammy at Shoppers Drug Store for her lovely smile and friendly hello. Very much appreciated by her customers.
