Marilyn Charles and Martha Ware organized the Halfmoon Bay Auxiliary craft, bake and plant sale in Trail Bay Mall on Nov. 21, which brought in over $4,200.
Auxiliary member Linda Condi said that this was the best sale in her memory. “We sold 90 pies,” Condi said.
As well as baked goods, the Halfmoon Bay Auxiliary also sold plants and crafts.
“All of our crafts are handmade, all of our baking is baked right at the kitchens of our members, and our plants are grown in one of our members’ greenhouse,” Ware said.
“We hold it twice a year, in the spring and as close to Christmas as we can,” Charles said. “All the proceeds go to the hospital.
