The last day of school is this Friday, Dec. 22 and Youth Night is at the Pender Harbour Community Hall starting at 3 p.m.
This Saturday, Dec. 23 is the final day of the 2017 Harbour Gallery Sale. The Gallery will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The artists wish to thank everyone who has visited the gallery and supported them this year. They look forward to working hard all winter to create fresh new works for the gallery reopening in the spring of 2018. The Harbour artists meet Tuesdays throughout the year at the gallery to paint and exchange ideas. You are invited to drop in.
The Pender Harbour Aquatic and Fitness Centre will be closed Dec. 23 through 26 but will open for regular hours of operation Dec. 27 to 3, then closed Jan. 1. MYPASS drop-in fitness programs are cancelled Dec. 23 to Jan. 7 resuming Monday Jan. 8.
The Legion will be closed (regular business hours) from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. Tickets for the New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance are available at the Legion (until Dec. 24) and at Harbour Insurance. Dinner will be prime rib with live music from the wonderful Lori Carmichael and Randy Rayment – Apasionado.
