This Saturday, Nov. 18, come to the Wildlife Homes Workshop, noon to 4 p.m. at the Iris Griffith Centre. Register at EarthFair Store: 604-883-9006. Build a bat, swallow, owl, duck or bee box. The Iris Griffith Nature Centre is located at 15200 Sunshine Coast Highway.
Later the same day, come dancing at the Legion at 8 p.m. to the favourite musical sensation, Playback. Tickets at the door $10 for members and $12.50 for non-members.

The fourth annual Christmas Art Show is Sunday, Nov. 19, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Sarah Wray Hall, a showing of the fabulous new artwork by Shelley Stunell’s students sponsored by the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society. Have a refreshment and join in the Christmas carol sing-along with HUGS at 2:30 p.m.

Sunshine Coast Health-care Auxiliary will be having a Christmas Bake Sale at the Serendipity Craft Fair Nov. 25. “In lieu of Christmas cards” is back. Instead of sending cards on the Coast, your name will be added to a card wishing everyone a Merry Christmas in Coast Reporter in December. Saves time, cards and stamps with donations going to a great cause.
