Are you looking to get out of the house for a few hours a month, socialize and do a good deed for your community health centre? The Pender Harbour & District Health Centre Auxiliary Society operates the Bargain Barn Thrift Store in Madeira Park for the purpose of supporting the Pender Harbour Health Centre and providing bursaries for graduates of the Pender Harbour Secondary School. The Bargain Barn is looking for volunteers to help with sales or sorting and pricing of donated goods. This Saturday, April 8, come to the Legion for the annual Easter ham, turkey and pie auction. There will be five extra turkeys Saturday and five extra at the usual meat draw on Sunday.
Steady Feet classes are a go on Thursdays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Call them to register or if you would like more info.
Thursday night bingo is still needing more players to keep operating. Come out for a night of fun and support the Pender Harbour Community Hall.

Friday, April 14 the Pender Harbour Music Society Coffee House at the School of Music welcomes to the stage Joan and Ted with their original West Coast sound; David Taylor on guitar and piano; Baili Clarke, beautiful originals and covers with guitar. Coffee and goodies will be sold, $10 suggested donation at the door. Music starts at 7:30 p.m.
