Harbour Highlights

Pender Harbour & Egmont

FLAIR in Pender Harbour is this Saturday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. to noon at the Activity Centre in Lily Lake Village (not Feb. 10 as posted in my column last week). My apologies! Guest speaker Haida Bolton will talk on Shinrin-Yoku Forest Therapy studied by scientists since the 1980s. Health benefits include lowered blood pressure, boosted immune system, increased cancer-fighting proteins (natural killer cells), reduced hormones and improved mental health. Please join this FLAIR gathering to learn more and to meet others in their cancer support group; everyone needs a strong network of support. For more info, contact Jean at 604-883-0660 or [email protected]
