Run by the Pender Harbour Health Centre Auxiliary, it is a very significant supporter of the Pender Harbour Health Centre, Harbourside Friendships and bursaries for our graduating students. Sunday, Sept. 6 Bark in the Park is a fundraising event at Lions Park. Bring your pet for a walk on the trails with a barbecue afterwards for $25.

The walk of the week with the Seniors Initiative folks is Tuesday, Sept 8. Meet at the mailboxes on Kent Road at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 9 Carpet Bowling from 1 to 3 p.m. at the PH Comm Hall is great fun for just $3.
The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Pender Harbour Branch will have their first fall meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 1:30 at Lily Lake Community Room. All are welcome. Members please remember your $10 yearly dues for this meeting.
Thursday, Sept. 10 Harbourside Friendships meets at 10:30 at the Hall. Music with Penny and George is the feature entertainment. Lunch is served at noon for $10.
Friday, Sept. 11 is the Coffee House at the School of Music. The Lynne Urquhart Band will play half the show this month. The PH Choir provides coffee, tea and fabulous desserts as a fundraiser for their group. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music at 7:30 p.m. At a suggested donation of $10 to enjoy the show and support the musicians and with refreshments available, this is a terrific evening out in the Harbour.
