The Apple festival weekend organized by Katie Angermeyer and sponsored by Halfmoon Bay Community Association proved to be a very successful event. Profits of approximately $1,400 are being donated to the new hall. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Russell deCarle and Steve Briggs put on a world class performance in the hall on Friday. The audience was mesmerized by the voice of deCarle and guitar playing of Briggs – brilliant. We will invite them to return in the spring.
The Annual General Meeting for the Halfmoon Bay-Chatelech Community School Association will be held Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. in the library at Chatelech Secondary School. They are happy to welcome interested parties for election as directors to the board.
Halfmoon Bay Branch of Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be holding their next meeting on Monday, Nov. 12 at 9:45 a.m. at Coopers Green. Visitors and new members are always welcome. Don’t miss their craft, bake and plant sale Nov. 25 in Trail Bay Mall, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
