HMB Community School is hosting a “Community Garage Sale” on Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the school parking lot and grounds, rain or shine! $25 per table or $20 if you bring your own table ... the school has a limited amount of tables so please secure yours early! All proceeds will go to our Outdoor Classroom Project.
The Halfmoon Bay Community Association is sponsoring an afternoon seminar “Information for estate planning” and “Connecting people to low cost legal advice” at Coopers Green Hall, 2 p.m., June 7. Limited seating by donation. Please email [email protected] if you would like to reserve a seat.
The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary, Halfmoon Bay Branch’s next meeting is the June windup/lunch on Monday, June 12 at Coopers Green. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from Shelley Grainger at 604-885-7338.
Mary Beth Knechtel and Roslyn Ladner from HMB Citizens Association, who headed the volunteers to clean up the Scotch Broom, would like to thank all the Broom Busters for their hard work over Friday and Saturday, taking time on the sunny long weekend to bust the broom along Redrooffs and in Welcome Woods. Kudos to those volunteers who have left Redrooffs and Welcome Woods very much improved.
