Drivers please look out for those pedestrians during these dark evenings.

If you are out walking please wear something bright or reflective. Light up your pets too.

The Welcome Beach Community Association along with the HMB Community School’s Breakfast with Santa fundraising event, held in December, raised a final total of $468 and a truckload of non-perishable items.

Thanks once again to everyone who came out for the breakfast and the many volunteers and businesses for their support.

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, WBCA are very pleased to have Karen Renfrew and Andre Casaubon from the Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association join them to provide additional coaching that promises to enhance skills, playing experience and enjoyment of the game. They will also update on the association’s activities and programs.

To have your ‘say at the bay’, contact me before 5 p.m. Mondays at [email protected] or call 604-885-5034.
