One local business has been here since 1904 and is still going strong. I am talking about the Post Office, where you can mail stuff like live bees or chicks or just get some cool stamps for the letter you know you should write. Post Master Chris is one of eight working there and you can rent a post box, buy a money order, or even pay your taxes in their shop. Hours are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
In the former woodworking school space is Bear Heart Wellness and Creative Arts. Biyaals heads an umbrella of seven practitioners and offers local jewellery, clothes and art in this beautiful location. Hours are: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday. The weekends are for event rentals!

It’s where I go to renew my Roberts Creek Community Association membership too. Check out ecofreako.ca. Open Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
