Slow Sunday this week boasts NUA – fabulous Celtic music from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with Roberts Creek’s James Law (fiddle) and Graeme McGillivray (guitar) and Scotland’s Jacob McCauley (bodhran). Join the fun behind Roberts Creek Library and enjoy the market from noon to 4 p.m.
On July 30 is the Sunday Funday Parking Lot Dance Party. Brothers in Farms is going afternoon tailgate party style for you this summer, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Roberts Creek / Masonic Hall parking lot.
On Wednesdays, Warm Wednesday Market is 1 to 5 p.m. – new this year with local vendors and artisans in Roberts Creek Hall parking lot. Also Wednesdays is the Farm Gate Market year round from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge (Hwy. 101 and Roberts Creek Road, a local organic farmers’ market.
Boudoir Rouge presents a burlesque dance party fundraiser for victims of the B.C. fires. Catch this event on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Roberts Creek Hall. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20 at share-there.com. All proceeds go to the Red Cross.
