There is lots of action in Roberts Creek on Sundays. Slow Sundays happens every week until Sept. 10. This event provides a family friendly venue for all to enjoy.
There is music, games tables, excellent local food, produce and craft vendors. Open mike takes place from noon to 2 p.m. Featured artists can be enjoyed between 2 and 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact Ed Lands at [email protected]
Good news: the Roberts Creek Library hours will be extended at least for the summer from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The staff at the library extend thanks to all who participated in their 50th anniversary book sale, which was a great success.
The Roberts Creek Community mandala is thrilled to announce their 20th year. Nearly 10,000 painters have shared their visions on the mandala over the years.
Public painting begins at noon on Monday, July 17, and continues for three to four days until the design is filled. Paint and brushes are supplied; spots are given on a first come, first served basis. Dates are weather dependent. Join the Facebook page, Roberts Creek Mandala, for updates.
The Mannafestival mandala celebration takes place on Sunday, July 23, with an opening circle at noon, followed by music, performing artists, dancing and fire spinning. Craft and food booths are free to set up in the park.
There is lots going on at the halls during the week. There is the Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays, Creative Lot Craft Market and Curry in the Creek, Thursdays 3 to 6 p.m.
