This Friday, April 7, Delhi 2 Dublin performs at Roberts Creek Hall. The all ages show goes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (tickets are $15, under 8 is free). The 19+ show is sold out.
Heat Changes Every-thing: 10 Sunshine Coast clay artists have a great exhibition lined up at Gibsons Public Art Gallery from April 6 to 30. The opening reception is Saturday, April 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. On Saturday, April 15 is a Q & A session with artists from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 22, is a Spirit of Clay presentation from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The Roberts Creek Branch of the Healthcare Auxiliary will be meeting Tuesday, April 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Roberts Creek Legion. Primary business will be to plan the spring fundraiser on April 22.
The Auxiliary is participating in the Earth Day celebrations with a Plant and bake sale. Look for them in the gazebo behind the RC Library.
There will be a new Community Craft Market each Wednesday at Roberts Creek Hall parking lot throughout the summer, starting April 12. This new venture will feature a craft market of local vendors and artisans. For more information contact Lorraine Aime at 604-989-2792.
There will be an all candidates green forum Friday, April 21 at Roberts Creek Hall at 7 p.m. hosted by the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association and the Alliance 4 Democracy. Kim Darwin, Nicholas Simons and Mathew Wilson will be there. Come out to engage in dialogue, get informed on the issues and participate in democracy.
