Just a reminder that Curry in the Creek is on at the Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 16 and Feb. 22 from 3 to 6 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 18, Butler in the Hey will be previewing tunes from their upcoming recording, Greetings Earthling, at the Roberts Creek Legion with special guest DJ Gregory. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and music starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for Legion members and $12 for non-members. Come prepared to dance, laugh, play and sweat!
The Roberts Creek Community Association (RCCA) meeting is Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m., at Roberts Creek Hall. All Creekers are encouraged to attend.
Creative in the Creek will be this Thursday, Feb. 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Gumboot Café. The event will be hosted by David Roche and Siobhan Brown and will feature the piano stylings of Robin Chauhan, Soma Sunshine’s songs, Beachcombers Ukulele Group (BUGS), the unique art of Kevin Broom and Roche’s funny fun. The Suncoaster Trail Route Planning Committee is holding an Open House on Feb. 27 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hall. Drop by and take a look at the progress.
The folks at RCCA wish to thank Ethical Bean Coffee for the donation of the new coffee maker for the Hall. The RCCA has new bylaws that are posted on their website.
Coming soon: a fundraiser for the Turner Family on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Roberts Creek Hall. Seedy Saturday is March 4. Information on both of these events will appear in the column next week.
